Official Daily Action for Thursday, December 4, 2025
It’s that time of the year where we love to post our Spotify ‘Wrapped’ stories of our favorite music of the year. But as long as Spotify continues to run fascist ICE recruitment ads, we should spend our time and money elsewhere.
It is easy to transfer your songs and playlists to another streaming service (it took your humble Daily Action author less than a half hour transfer 15,000 songs and 20 playlists over to Apple). And we know from Jimmy Kimmel that boycotts are an effective tool to fight corporate complicity.
ACTION: Boycott spotify.
Here is how you can participate, and some resources:
-Cancel your paid subscription: Here are Step-by-step instructions on how to cancel Spotify Premium https://www.youtube.com/shorts/TKp7cx8kwh4?feature=share
-Don’t use Spotify’s free version either. You don’t need to delete your account. Just close out your apps and don’t open them again until Spotify stops forcing ICE ads into people’s feeds.
-Instead of sharing your Spotify Wrapped this year, share Indivisible’s Wrapped-themed posts calling on others to cancel Spotify: https://app.sosha.ai/toolkit/spotify-wrapped-ice-trump-01aa
