Call your reps to move to end this government shutdown by extending the ACA tax credits and blocking Trump’s illegal budget cuts and mass layoffs of federal workers. Congress must do its job and stop this administration’s ongoing lawlessness and authoritarian takeover.

Tell Senate
“STOP censorship of pro-Palestinian speech thru Pentagon contracting”
GOP Congress passed National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) with a provision that would prohibit Pentagon contracts with any organization that engages in boycotts of Israel. This is an attempt at federal censorship. The Senate will vote on its version of the NDAA very soon, which does not include the anti-boycott provision.

Day Laborer Ally
The National Day Laborer Organizing Network is calling on the public to Adopt a Day Labor Corner. Go to your local Home Depot, where immigrant day laborers are at extreme risk of harassment and arrest. Choose a location convenient to you, where day laborers gather and commit to showing up regularly. Be present. Be consistent. Build relationships and offer protection. Remember: Solo el pueblo salva al pueblo. Only the people save the people.
End Attacks on Vulnerable LGBTQ+ Kids
Decline to sign WA Initiatives and sign up to Volunteer. A poorly written initiative (IL26-001) increases the risk of abuse for all students, not only LGBTQ+ kids. While most parents are loving and supportive, not all kids are safe at home, and need to turn to a trusted teacher or counselor for help. This one-size-fits-all initiative would take away that lifeline at a time when youth mental illness is at record highs.
