Official Daily Action for Wednesday, October 22, 2025
Staff at the CDC Library were quietly laid off on Friday. They have not been called back to work. We need you to take action and spread the word!
The CDC Library plays an important role in providing our public health professionals with access to the best information. Without them, remaining CDC employees will lose access to information and resources in an outbreak. There is always a possibility of an outbreak.
ACTION: Protect the Center for Disease Control Library & Librarians!
[1] Sign the petition to call for their return.
[2] Send an email to your representative to show support for CDC librarians to ask that they advocate for the Library and its staff.

AFTER NO KINGS – A BIG REMINDER:
We will not stand by while Trump turns our government against the people. We will not let Trump’s threats and fear tactics silence or divide us. We, the people, are stronger together, in solidarity. So, as Congress cowers and billionaires bow, we the people will stand as the firewall against Trump’s slide into authoritarianism.
