*Content warning: gun violence, hate crimes*
Five people were killed and dozens injured when a gunman holding an AR-15 style rifle fired into a crowd Saturday night at an LGBTQ+ nightclub in Colorado Springs, CO. This tragedy came on the eve of the national Transgender Day of Rememberence. Clubgoers bravely fought back and subdued the gunman; but it should never have happened. Here are a few actions we can take to respond:
1) Donate, if you can, to the Colorado Healing Fund, which will go to victims and their families: https://www.coloradogives.org/organization/COHealingFund
2) Call your legislators and demand action on anti-LGBTQ+ bigotry and gun violence:

My name is [NAME] calling from [CITY, ZIP]. I am appalled at the Club Q night club shooting that killed five members of the LGBTQ+ community on Saturday night. The shooter was using an AR-15 style rifle. I demand Congressional action on gun violence and anti-LGBTQ hate crimes in this session.
