Official Daily Action for Monday, June 1, 2026
In moments like this, it’s easy to feel powerless. We’re not. Here are two ways you can show up for Trans people right now—each takes less than 5 minutes:
[1] Oppose the “Don’t Say Trans” bill (H.R. 2616): Congress is considering a bill that would force schools to out Trans students to their guardians and ban discussion of gender identity in K-8 classrooms. Act now and tell your representatives to vote no on this heinous bill.
[2] Protect Trans Access to Housing: The Trump administration is moving to rescind the Equal Access Rule, which guarantees Trans people can’t be turned away from federally funded shelters and housing programs. Public comments are now open – submit your support for the Equal Access Rule on the Federal Register by June 29th!

Help keep Seattle Indivisible running: We are all volunteers at Seattle Indivisible, but a lot of what supports our basic operations, such as meeting spaces, fliers, and website hosting costs money. Please contribute to keep us going strong: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/seattleindivisible
