Official Daily Action for Wednesday, May 27, 2026
NO Hate in WA State is launching a campaign against IL26-001 & IL26-638
A MAGA mega-donor is spending millions on two poorly written initiatives:
IL26-001 removes common sense protections for child abuse victims. It would allow parents under criminal investigation or charged with rape, assault, or other harm to their child, to access sensitive information. This will discourage kids from seeking help from trusted school counselors.
IL26-638 could force invasive genital exams on girls of any age when they want to play sports – at any level.
ACTIONS:

Help keep Seattle Indivisible running: We are all volunteers at Seattle Indivisible, but a lot of what supports our basic operations, such as meeting spaces, fliers, and website hosting costs money. Please contribute to keep us going strong: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/seattleindivisible
