From our friends at the the Economic Opportunity Institute: Sign-in PRO to Senate Bill 6173 by TODAY, Tuesday January 20th at 2 p.m. to ensure large corporations contribute what they owe toward the health care costs of their low-wage workforce.
Senate Bill 6173 establishes a reasonable assessment paid by large corporations so that firms contribute what they owe toward the health care costs of their low-wage workforce. Large firms should pay into the state’s public health care program, rather than letting taxpayers and the state foot the bill for employee benefit.
