It’s the final two days leading up to the election for the Yes on Prop 1 campaign to renew the democracy voucher program. Help us reach as many voters as possible!
Volunteer Needs:
Each phone bank session follows a consistent format:
· 10 min introduction – Welcome, overview of goals, and session logistics
· Concurrent activities:
· Experienced volunteers: Begin calling immediately after introduction
New volunteers:
· 20-minute comprehensive training on the phone banking platform and best practices
· Mid-session break: 10-minute break for all volunteers to recharge
· Resume calling: Continue voter outreach for remainder of session
· 10-minute debrief: Share experiences, celebrate successes, and discuss any challenges

Important Volunteer Information!
For New Volunteers:
No prior experience necessary – we provide complete training
Training covers phone banking software, conversation techniques, and handling common questions
Arrive/call in a few minutes early to get settled before the session begins
For Experienced Volunteers:
· You can begin calling immediately after the brief introduction
· Feel free to mentor new volunteers during breaks
· Your experience helps create a supportive environment for newcomers
Technical Requirements for Virtual Participation:
· Reliable internet connection
· Computer
· Quiet space for making calls
· Notebook for taking any necessary notes
