Call or Email Now – No War with Iran!
From our friends in Indivisible Washington’s 8th District – The “No New Wars” President has recklessly, dangerously, bombed Iran. Without Congress declaring war. Without Congress authorizing the use of military force. Without even consulting Congress. His actions are autocratic and unconstitutional. His policies, performance, and The Big Bad Budget Bill are unpopular. The Americans do not want war with Iran.
Congress has a tool to fight back. Representatives Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Thomas Massie (R-KY – yes, you read that right!) have introduced a bipartisan War Powers Resolution to block unauthorized US military involvement in Iran. It would force an up-or-down vote and send a powerful message that Trump does not have a blank check for war.
It’s up to us as constituents to make sure Congress asserts their constitutional power. It’s up to us to demand peace and accountability.

Congress has the power and the responsibility to stop this. I am urging the representative to speak out strongly against war with Iran and to support the bipartisan Massie-Khanna War Powers Resolution to block further escalation. As a constituent, I expect my Representative to do everything they can to stop this war before it escalates further.
