WA and Seattle stepped up with funds to keep SNAP recipients solvent.
So, this is the last ask to donate to food banks – this area was not covered yet. Donations to other food banks in other areas have helped! Thank you! Food banks are not a solution to rising prices, but they help.
One of Indivisible’s goals is promoting a just and equitable society. Donating to food banks is a way to support mutual aid! Today, we are targeting the food banks in the general “south” of Seattle.
ACTION: If you are able, please donate any amount to:
White Center Food Bank https://www.whitecenterfoodbank.org/
West Seattle Food Bank https://westseattlefoodbank.org/
St. Vincent de Paul https://svdpseattle.org/get-help/food-bank/
Puget Sound Labor Agency https://www.pugetsoundlaboragency.org/
We record Seattle Indivisible’s impact here, so please add your hard work too! https://goo.gl/forms/lbHUvI9h58f0dLqx1

Help keep Seattle Indivisible running: We are all volunteers at Seattle Indivisible, but a lot of what supports our basic operations, such as meeting spaces, fliers, and website hosting costs money. Please contribute to keep us going strong: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/seattleindivisible
Contributions or gifts to Seattle Indivisible are not tax deductible as charitable contributions or as business expenses under IRC Section 162(e).
