The first bill is 2SSB 5536 Drug Criminalization: This bill re-criminalizes substance possession and leaves substance use disorder treatment in the hands of prosecutors and the court instead of health providers where it belongs.

The second bill is SHB 1363 High-Speed Vehicular Pursuits: Would lower the bar for law enforcement to use an extremely dangerous tactic responsible for the fatalities of many innocent citizens.
