On April 26, Seattle City Councilmember Sara Nelson is introducing legislation that would allow the Seattle Police Department to give out hiring bonuses in an attempt to increase the number of cops on Seattle’s streets.
Your voice is needed to derail this effort and remind the council that true public safety comes from resourcing community, not cops.
