A few wealthy Republican donors are bankrolling Initiative 1929 to repeal our state’s capital gains tax. If they’re successful, the wealthiest 0.2% of taxpayers would take away $500 million a year from Washington public schools, students, and childcare. Clearly, some of the wealthiest people in our state are more worried about buying yachts than paying what they owe our communities.
FUSE has launched a social media campaign called Save Our Yachts to expose their greed and educate voters about who’s behind I-1929. Help spread the word with your friends and family before I-1929 begins gathering signatures!
