Trump’s illegal tariffs raised prices on everyday goods for all of us, and we deserve a refund. Amazon is one of the many companies eligible for a tariff refund from the federal government, but they are refusing to request that refund so that they don’t have to give us our money back. Big corporations and the wealthy few like Jeff Bezos are sucking up to Trump by avoiding refunding tariffs to everyday people because they know if they do Trump’s bidding, they’ll keep getting massive tax breaks.
But the money they’re using to kowtow to Trump isn’t theirs, it’s ours! A class-action lawsuit was just filed in federal court in Seattle to require repayment of tariffs by Amazon to its customers.
