Official Daily Action for Monday, March 2nd, 2026
From National Indivisible:
Trump has launched unauthorized military strikes on Iran, dragging the United States into yet another war without approval from Congress.
Congress has a constitutional obligation to assert its war powers immediately and block any further military action. The Constitution is clear: Congress, NOT the president, holds the power to declare war and to approve or disapprove sustained military engagement.
Congress has both the authority and the responsibility to act. The levers in their toolbox:
• Publicly call for an immediate halt to further military action.
• Expedite, support, and advance a War Powers Resolution to require congressional approval for continued hostilities.
• Oppose any funding for unauthorized military escalation.
• Demand full transparency and accountability from the administration.
ACTION:
Use National Indivisible’s script and submit a letter to your members of Congress.
