OFFICIAL DAILY ACTION FOR Monday, January 26, 2025
On January 24th, federal agents killed another person in Minneapolis. The video of them tackling 37-year-old nurse Alex Pretti to the ground before opening fire is horrific. The January 7th footage of them shooting Renee Good is appalling. Everything about ICE and Border Patrol’s brutal invasion of our communities is horrendous.
It is increasingly clear that stripping the Department of Homeland Security down to the studs — ICE, Border Patrol, all of it — is the minimum we must do when we regain power.
But we can’t afford to wait that long to rein in these agencies. Both Senators have a pledged to vote NO on any DHS funding bill that gives ICE more money to brutalize our neighbors!
It is important to let them know their constituents support their position – give them the necessary backing for them to vote no!
ACTION:
Email your Senators here to thank them for standing up to DHS and encourage them to stand firm in their position.
