Official Daily Actions for Friday, September 26, 2025
- From Indivisible National: Tell the House to investigate government censorship of Jimmy Kimmel Live. While Disney responded to protests and brought back Jimmy Kimmel Live, the actions of Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chair Brendan Carr enabled the Republican administration’s attempt to silence dissent. By threatening to revoke the licenses of any station that aired Jimmy Kimmel Live, Carr showed himself to be willing to use authoritarian power to censor free speech. Tell Congress to hold Carr accountable by investigating his actions.
You can email your representatives via this link: https://act.indivisible.org/sign/censorship-investigations-now// - Suck It, Sinclair! Join the Defund Musk Campaign on Saturday, September 27 to tell the Sinclair-owned KOMO station to stop their continued censorship of Jimmy Kimmel and collusion with Republican authoritarianism. Let’s tell Sinclair and KOMO to put Jimmy Kimmel Live back on air!
