Don’t Let the Trump Administration Dismantle Climate Research
From the Union of Concerned Scientists: Urge Congress to halt the Trump administration’s plans to dismantle the National Science Foundation National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), one of the United States’ leading weather and climate research institutions. Research done at NCAR affects every weather and climate prediction in the United States. It enables air quality monitoring, forecasts of droughts and extreme precipitation events, and improved hurricane intensity forecasts.
