The President’s Budget Request for science is being marked up the Senate Appropriations Committee on Wednesday.
The proposed cuts are apocalyptic for US science:
NSF funding cut by 57%: $9.06 billion in FY25 to $3.9 billion
NIH funding cut by 42%: $47.3 billion in FY 25 to $27.5 billion
