National action to cease wrongful deportations and protect asylum seekers:
Andry José Hernández Romero is an asylum seeker from Venezuela who was wrongfully deported from the U.S. to a notorious maximum security prison in El Salvador without due process of law. Human Rights Campaign is calling for signatures to a petition to Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem to cease wrongful deportations and return Hernández Romero and others like him safely and immediately – “and to afford all Americans, asylum seekers and foreign nationals residing in the United States due process of law as required by the U.S. Constitution.”
