“On March 14, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer failed to stand up against Donald Trump’s power grab. Instead of using the leverage Senate Democrats had, he caved—paving the way for extreme funding cuts that benefit Trump and Elon Musk while hurting vital public programs.
Schumer’s failure to lead in this critical moment is a betrayal of the Democratic Party, its voters, and our democracy. We need a Senate Minority Leader who will actually fight back against Trump, not fold to him.
Your Senator needs to step up and call for new leadership.”
