Official Daily Action for Wednesday, October 29, 2025
This summer, Trump and Congressional Republicans gutted Medicaid and cut Affordable Care Act tax credits that lower the cost of coverage for millions of Americans. They chose to terminate coverage for 15 million people and double premiums for 22 million more just to pay for massive tax cuts for the rich CEOs of the health insurance companies ripping us all off.
The No Kings follow-up call requested that folks take part in the Healthcare Heist Week of Action, which is October 29 to November 5.
Will you or someone you care about be affected by cuts to the Affordable Care Act or Medicaid? Are you willing to talk to the press and members of Congress about how these cuts will affect you or someone you care about?
Things to think about:
· Why is healthcare important to you?
· Do you have a medical condition?
· How much will your costs go up?
· How does healthcare help you as a small business owner?
ACTION: If healthcare cuts will affect you, fill in the form linked below! Tell people that if they or someone they know would be affected by the cuts, they should fill it in as well: https://bit.ly/myhealthcarestory
Note: this does not concern people being hurt by the shutdown
