Stand With TPS Holders – Rally for TPS Justice

A landmark case that could determine the future of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) in the U.S., Ramos v. Mayorkas, is being reheard en banc by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in Seattle on June 22nd. In the Ninth Circuit, en banc means the case will now be heard by a panel of 11 Judges.

TPS offers temporary protection from deportation for qualifying immigrants who live in the U.S. and come from designated nations deemed unsafe to return to because of war, natural disasters or other crises.

This case has been in limbo for years, and its outcome could have wide-reaching implications for TPS holders. In 2018, a federal court prevented the termination of TPS status for these countries, but a 2020 decision set that ruling aside. Now, after failed negotiations for permanent status, the case is back in the spotlight.

This is a crucial moment in the fight for immigrant rights, and your presence can make a difference. Rally in person to show your support for the TPS holders who have built their lives here and who deserve to stay. Your support could help tip the scales in favor of justice for our immigrant neighbors.

TPS holders from these countries have been living in a state of uncertainty for too long. The outcome of this case could impact over 260,000 individuals from El Salvador, Nepal, Nicaragua, and Honduras. They deserve our support. Let’s stand with them and show that our community values their contributions.

Stand up for justice. Stand up for immigrant rights. We hope to see you there!
