March is right around the corner, and that means it’s time for our monthly meeting! Please join us on Wednesday, March 3 from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM. We will have two featured speakers, as well as updates on our state legislative battles, elections, other actions and volunteer needs. We will have unstructured time at the end to say hello and meet newcomers.
FEATURED SPEAKERS:
Joseph Lachman, policy analyst with the Asian Counseling and Referral Service, will speak to the Day of Remembrance 2021 as well as the rise in anti-Asian violence caused by people who blame Asians for the COVID-19 pandemic.
Hamdi Mohamed, policy advisor to King County’s Office of Equity and Social Justice policy advisor will provide an update on King County’s COVID response, from an equity perspective.
