**The Womxn’s March is today and runs through the weekend! The full schedule is appended to the end of this action. A quick bonus action is also included for those who can’t make the weekend’s events.
Action: Mark Your Calendars for Seattle Indivisible Events
You are cordially invited to join us for a new year of Resist Trump Tuesday Rallies, meetings, and direct lobbying of our federal Representatives! To accommodate an exciting new regular meeting with House-side staffers, we are moving our Tuesday Resist Rallies to the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays, and our weekly Seattle Indivisible meetings on Tuesday nights will be held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays (rather than each week). It looks like this:
1st Tuesdays: General Membership Meeting, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Washington State Labor Council
2nd Tuesdays: Resist Trump Tuesday Rally at 11:45 a.m. outside the Henry M. Jackson Federal Building, immediately followed by a 12:30 p.m. meeting with Senators Murray and Cantwell’s staffers
3rd Tuesdays: General Membership Meeting, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Washington State Labor Council
4th Tuesdays: Resist Trump Tuesday Rally at 11:45 a.m. outside the Henry M. Jackson Federal Building, immediately followed by a 12:30 p.m. meeting with Representatives Jayapal and Smith’s staffers
If you can’t make the Tuesday mid-day Resist Rally and staffer meetings but want your voice to be heard, we encourage you to come by on 1st and 3rd Tuesday nights and help us plan out our line of questioning! Please mark these changes on your calendars and let us know if you have any questions.
Bonus Action: Donate to a Food Bank
As the longest in history, the #TrumpShutdown is causing missed paychecks and food stamp benefits to run out for many, putting an increasing strain on food banks. If you are able, please consider a donation of any size to our suggested local food banks and distributors:

You can also earmark a donation to the Polack Food Bank through the Jewish Family Service: https://www.jfsseattle.org/give/give-now/
