Yesterday the Trump administration announced a plan to freeze an Obama-era regulation on vehicle fuel efficiency. What’s worse, the party of “states’ rights” also revoked a waiver from 1970 that empowered California and other states to set their own emissions regulations.
Comment on the regulation, and let Trump’s Transportation Department know that the people oppose this regulation:

Anyone who would like to help but hasn’t yet received voter registration training, or need a refresher–now is your chance! In a breakout section during our regular weekly 7-9PM meeting, we will be training volunteers on how to register voters.
This meeting venue is wheelchair accessible, and can be reached by King County Metro buses 7, 14, 27, and 106, and the First Hill Streetcar.
Good News
A week ago, we asked you to email King County Council members about a proposal that would direct $185 million in taxes to Safeco Field renovations. Thanks to public outcry, Councilmember Jeanne Kohl-Welles has withdrawn her co-sponsorship and introduced an amendment to spend most of the money on affordable housing instead.
