**Reinforcements needed! An alt-right group has expressed interest in counter-protesting our upcoming Resist Trump Tuesday against the abortion gag rule (which features a Planned Parenthood speaker). The page is run by the same man who failed to tear up an anti-fascism sign in half on May Day, and is associated with Patriot Prayer and the Proud Boys. Let’s show strength in numbers this Tuesday May 29, 11:45 a.m. outside the Henry M. Last week Trump submitted a proposed Department of Health and Human Services rule on federally funded family planning that would “bar doctors from advising a woman weighing an abortion about where she could receive one” and loosens requirements for providers to provide birth control. This is a shameless attack on the constitutionally protected women’s right to choose, and on access to lifesaving care and sound medical advice. Planned Parenthood has compared it to “The Handmaid’s Tale,” a fictional dystopia in which women do not control their own reproductive rights.
