No Kings Rally and March
“In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings. We plan to make that loud and clear on June 14th at our NO KINGS protest in Seattle. We’re asking you to join this people’s movement and help spread the word.
NO KINGS is a national day of action and mass mobilization in response to increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption from Trump and his allies. The Seattle resistance coalition* that brought 25,000 of us together at Seattle Center on April 5 to say #HandsOff, now invites your group [insert name here] to join our NO KINGS Rally and March on June 14th. Please bring your banners, signs, coordinating shirts, music and noise makers. If we’re going to be heard in the other Washington, we need every constituency standing up in solidarity !
🚨Rally at NOON on Saturday, June 14th, in Cal Anderson Park.
– Ball Field Area on the south side of the park
🚨 March at 1:00 pm to Seattle Center.
– Coalition and other partners will be tabling at Seattle Center on the hardscape south of the International Fountain.
We’re standing up for our democracy, our constitution, and a government by and for the people.
We’re building a movement that leaves Trumpism behind.
June 14th is Flag Day (and Trump’s birthday) and Trump is spending $25-45 million of our money on a military weapons parade ala those typically seen in N. Korea and other authoritarian regimes. But the flag doesn’t belong to Donald Trump. It belongs to us. This is OUR fight. We are the POWER of the PEOPLE and INDIVISIBLE, we win!
On June 14th, we’re showing up everywhere he isn’t—to say:
No thrones, No crowns, No kings.
Working with these Fellow Organizers

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.

Statement on Safety June 10
Many are asking about Safety for Saturday:
The coalition of 12 organizations planning #NoKings Seattle at Cal Anderson is sensitive to the safety concerns of our supporters and has made safety a #1 priority in our event planning. As our event notice states, the organizers are committed to non-violent, peaceful protest on June 14th. We have planned a lawful and peaceful march fully protected by the First Amendment. And as is the norm with big events that we organize, we have a large volunteer safety team trained in de-escalation as well as a first-aid team dedicated to protecting and caring for our community. Mutually protecting and serving our communities is our central value and key reason we are protesting.
We hope you will join us on Saturday. We are determined not to let the Trump administration’s fear tactics silence us.
Indivisible National and Seattle Indivisible’s core organizing principle is nonviolent political action (nonviolent political action can be loud and inconvenient!). It is because that is what is most effective against authoritarians and wannabe authoritarians.
Safety has been the #1 focus on planning since the beginning.
We are also recommending that people attend the “Know Your Rights” training tonight, June 10, at 7pm ET / 4pm PT to learn skills to help keep No Kings protests safe and non-violent.
Fear is the goal of Fascism. Courage is contagious, too. When the fascists crack down on small-scale nonviolent protest, we need large-scale nonviolent protest. That’s what works. Leaders, institutions, and people currently on the sideline need to know that the defense of democracy is inevitable, overwhelming, and irresistible. They need to see it with their own eyes.
When everyone shows a little bit of courage, no one has to be the hero.
