Washington’s tax system remains one of the most regressive in the country. Working families pay a far higher share of their income in taxes than the wealthiest households. Communities across the state struggle with rising costs for housing, healthcare, and basic necessities.

SB 6346 would establish a Millionaires’ Tax, asking the wealthiest households in Washington to contribute what they owe toward the services, infrastructure, and investments our communities rely on. This policy would help strengthen funding for public priorities while creating a fairer tax structure for the state.
Passing SB 6346 would move Washington toward a more balanced system where the people who have benefited most from the economy contribute appropriately to the well-being of our communities.
ACTION: Send a message today urging House Representatives to bring SB 6346 to the floor.
