OFFICIAL DAILY ACTION FOR Wednesday, January 28, 2026
Bovino is gone, but ICE is still threatening children by deploying teargas at a preschool, illegally trying to enter the Ecuadorian consulate in Minneapolis, and deporting a US citizen to Honduras – a 5-year-old US Citizen. There are no consequences yet for those who killed Alex Pretti, Renee Good or so many others.
It is obvious that we need to dismantle the current Department of Homeland Security. We can’t wait until the midterms, ICE needs to be defunded NOW.
Both our Senators have a pledged to vote NO on any DHS funding bill that gives ICE more money to brutalize our neighbors.
Let them know they have our support. Tell them not to waver or compromise.
ACTION:
Call your Senators here to thank them for standing up to DHS and encourage them to stay firm in their position!
Senator Patty Murray: 202-224-2621/206-553-5545
Senator Maria Cantwell: 202-224-3441/206-220-6400
SCRIPT:
Hi, this is [name], I live at [address, city, zip]. I am calling about ICE. Bovino is gone, but ICE is still threatening children by deploying teargas at preschools, illegally trying to enter the Ecuadorian consulate in Minneapolis, and deporting a US citizen to Honduras – a 5-year-old US Citizen. There are no consequences yet for those who killed Alex Pretti, Renee Good or so many others.
ICE and DHS have more than enough money, money that should be going to feed people, educate our youth, and keep our environment clean. Instead, they ask for even more funding to continue their lawless persecution of immigrants!
Stand by your pledge to not vote for any increase in DHS or ICE funds. I believe it is worth risking a government shutdown to stop ICE, since we must halt the growth of this internal gestapo. Do not waver, do not compromise. Thank you.
