Official Daily Action for Friday, July 25, 2025
The National Day Laborer Organizing Network (NDLON) [https://ndlon.org/] is calling on the public to Adopt a Day Labor Corner. This effort is currently focused on various Home Depot locations around Seattle, and volunteers are needed for the following locations
- SoDo Home Depot
- West Seattle Home Depot
- Shoreline Home Depot
- Eastside locations of Home Depot
Recent experience of ICE in Los Angeles and across the country has shown that immigrant day laborers who gather at Home Depot to find work are at extreme risk of harassment and arrest. Being consistently present at these locations helps us build solidarity with the workers. provide resources, and resist injustices against our communities.
What’s required?
- Minimum 1-2 hours a week (flexible) spent visiting your local day labor corner
- Attending an introductory workshop and some follow up training
- Joining a Signal group to coordinate with other volunteers
