On October 18 at noon, Seattle Indivisible as part of the No Kings Seattle Coalition is co-hosting the No Kings Seattle Oct. 18 Rally and March at the Seattle Center.
Donald Trump is no king. But he acts like one. He wants to be a dictator. Over the past months, he has escalated efforts to consolidate power, punish political enemies, and weaponize the machinery of government. In cities across the country, federal troops have been deployed, checks and balances threatened. Only the people, in numbers, can stop him. It takes people power to enable people power, but it also takes a little bit more.
We are expecting and planning for No Kings Seattle Oct.-18 to be the largest protest in Seattle history. Hosting an event this big is a huge undertaking. We have a group of over a 100 volunteers working now to organize an impactful and safe action. You told us at the last event you wanted more bathrooms and better sound, you want to see the speakers. We have more volunteers needing safety vests. This is what it takes to deliver that experience in an event this size. We’ve been working around the clock. I’m proud of our team but we could use your support.
