Keep these Police Accountability Bills Moving

We need your help to keep these important police accountability bills moving through the Washington State Senate now that they have passed the House. Please take the following quick and easy actions!

1) By 10:30 AM this morning, sign in as ‘pro’ to the Senate Committee on Law & Justice hearing on HB 1310, which revises police use of force standards to make deadly force a last resort: https://bit.ly/3loJXuT

At any time, you can leave a comment to email your Senator in support of this bill: https://app.leg.wa.gov/pbc/bill/1310

2) Comment in support of HB 1267, which would mandate independent investigations of police misconduct: https://app.leg.wa.gov/pbc/bill/1267

These actions are especially important if your Senator sits on the Committee on Law & Justice:
