OFFICIAL DAILY ACTION FOR Friday, July 10
The U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency has announced an inaugural pilot program for a “Citizens Academy” course on immigration enforcement. The program includes six days of training potential vigilantes on topics such as “defensive tactics, firearms familiarization and targeted arrests.” We cannot allow ICE to further stoke anti-immigrant hate with tactics like this. Today’s action is to call our senators and representatives to ask them to demand that ICE cancel this program immediately.
