The U.S. has been assisting Saudi Arabia in committing war crimes in Yemen. Both the House and Senate have passed resolutions this Congress forcing the U.S. to withdraw. Now the House just needs to pass the version that passed the Senate.
Unfortunately, despite being the minority party in the House, the Republicans have successfully used a procedure called a “Motion to Recommit (MTR)” in bad faith a few times this year to derail otherwise popular progressive bills. They plan to try it again.
Action: Tell our Representatives: Pass H.J.Res. 37, and vote NO on any MTRs.
Rep. Pramila Jayapal: DC – 202-225-3106 Seattle – 206-674-0040
Rep. Adam Smith: DC – 202-225-8901 Renton – 425-793-5180
