Hey – I’m Aaron, the treasurer of Seattle Indivisible. It might not seem like it from the outside, but our non-profit is a relatively small, all-volunteer group that always looks for clever ways to ‘punch above our weight’ in politics. We always look for ways to accomplish our goals without asking you for money because there are so many worthy causes out there, and because we want to make it clear that when we ask for money we’re doing it for a really good reason.
Last year, we asked you for your financial assistance in our No One is Above the Law rally, which turned out a crowd of thousands at Seattle’s Cal Anderson Park. With your help, we were able to raise over $16,000 to pay for expenses associated with the rally, and send a clear message to Donald Trump and his lackeys at the Department of Justice that we wouldn’t let them get away with firing DoJ appointees in order to end the Mueller investigation.
Now, it’s one year later, and an impeachment inquiry into Donald Trump is underway in the House of Representatives. We are making plans to hold an even bigger rally than last year’s on the eve of the House’s impeachment vote to send a message to our elected officials that Donald Trump must be impeached for his crimes against our people and our nation, and he must be removed from office.
We need your help now more than ever to make sure that Seattle says Impeach & Remove!

Aaron Brethorst
