  • Instant alert system
  • Simple, cheap, effective
  • Noise = visibility
  • Turns silence into community action
  • Warns others when ICE is in the area, so vulnerable people can get to safety and everyone else can come help

Together, we keep our communities safe.

How It Works

Wear a whistle around your neck or on your keychain
Teach family and neighbors the code
If you see ICE, blow your whistle.
If you hear a whistle, either:
Get to safety or Follow the sound, form a crowd, stay loud.

Judge orders Trump administration to provide bond hearings to detained migrants

“District judge in California says detainees who were already living in the US are legally entitled to a bond hearing! “

“About 65,000 people were in immigration detention in the US as of last week, according to government data.

The Trump administration has argued that individuals’ differing circumstances required the issue to be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, but Sykes said that being deprived of the right to a bond hearing was an injury common to the class.” – SOURCE: THE GUARDIAN https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/nov/25/judge-bond-hearings-detained-migrants

    WAISN PROVIDES BOND FOR IMMIGRANTS

“The winter holidays are meant to be a time of family and joy — yet many immigrant and refugee community members are still trapped in an oppressive detention and deportation system. You can make a difference by contributing to community-led efforts like the WAISN’s Fair Fight Bond Fund.

Fair Fight Bond Fund — the Pacific Northwest’s only community-funded immigration bond resource — has already reunited 133 people with their loved ones.

Your support during this season of giving can help reunite another community member with their loved ones. Consider donating to the Fair Fight Bond Fund today.”

AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL REPORTs Human Rights Violations in detention.

USA: New Findings Reveal Human Rights Violations at Florida’s “Alligator Alcatraz” and Krome Detention Centers

This is consistent with LaResistencia reports of conditions at the Tacoma Detention Center.

These findings confirm a deliberate system built to punish, dehumanize, and hide the suffering of people in detention”.Ana Piquer, Amnesty International’s Regional Director for the Americas.

People interviewed shared that access to medical care is inconsistent, inadequate, or denied all together, placing individuals at serious risk of physical and mental harm. People reported being always shackled when they were outside their cage. Other treatment those detained have endured amounts to torture, including being put in the “box”,described as a 2×2 foot cage-like structure people are put in as punishment – sometimes for hours at a time exposed to the elements with hardly any water – with their hands and feet attached to restraints on the ground.  “

“The research concluded that people arbitrarily detained in “Alligator Alcatraz” are living in inhuman and unsanitary conditions including overflowing toilets with fecal matter seeping into where people are sleeping, limited access to showers, exposure to insects without protective measures, lights on 24 hours a day, poor quality food and water, and lack of privacy – including cameras above the toilets.

    BONUS:

Last night, the Senate voted on a number of Senate Joint Resolutions that tried to block selling arms to Israel. The vote failed, but a record number of Democratic senators voted for them. Both our Senators voted for this legislation.

ACTION: Call and thank our Senators for their vote. This could give them leverage in future votes.

    Senator Patty Murray: 202-224-2621 / 206-553-5545
    Senator Maria Cantwell: 202-224-3441 / 206-220-6400

    SCRIPT:

My name is [name], and I live in [city], Washington, [zip, county]. I’m calling to thank Senator [Murray/Cantwell] for her vote on Senate Joint Resolutions 32, 136, 137 and 138. I know they did not pass, but I appreciate her vote. I hope that there will be future legislation against the sale of arms to Israel, and I will support the Senator in that effort. Thank you.
